As a BDR you will help align some of the latest technologically advanced solutions to companies looking for a strategic partner.

**Business Development Representative**:
We are searching for a motivated Sales Professional to focus on identifying and booking meetings with new business in the medium and enterprise markets across Canada with a focus in Ontario. There will be no limits to verticals or territories. By prospecting, communicating value, developing relationships, you will work closely with our senior sales staff to align relationships that help position WPCI as a leading partner for their telecom requirements.

You will work to prospect and qualify new business opportunities and be WPCI’s first point of contact. Your success will play an integral role in building our long-term customer experiences while achieving sales revenue goals.

In addition, you will be provided a base of small and medium business customers, be trained to sell and support employee purchase plan clients. This is all designed to help develop a rounded understanding of our offerings, build relationships, learn new industries and network. You will become a key part of our overall efforts and team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting
- Assess a client’s requirements and successfully align sales opportunities.
- Book new meetings with prospective clients that result in closed sales
- Work directly with Director of Sales to have an Account Executive assigned for the sales cycle
- Demonstrate strong selling and influencing skills
- Manage leads, sales activity, and future opportunities in our CRM

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- 5+ years sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Goal oriented with a track record for meeting/exceeding expectations.
- High-energy, ambitious sales professional
- Resourceful and curious individual with a sharp intellect and the ability to rapidly absorb new concepts
- Resilience, perseverance, and an ability to overcome objections
- A knack for learning fast and solving problems
- Exceptional phone, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with technical concepts and ability to learn quickly
- Preference to those with SaaS experience
- Strong understanding of lead generation and love for solving problems.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Working Environment & Tools**:

- Hybrid environment is offered to facilitate training and team growth and communication. During onboarding and periodically throughout the year there may be requirements to attend in person.
- WPCI will provide a laptop and smartphone to facilitate the job requirements.
