Administrative Assistant

**Overview**:
A person working in a busy team environment. We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist to to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to the Mortgage Broker, assisting in daily office needs and keeping track of calendar and social media.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
- Assist team on appraisal requests, pricing, and other tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact lists
**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, or Office Admin Assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Must be Willing to Learn Basic Mortgage processing information.
- Social Media & Marketing proficiency is a bonus
- Additional qualification as an Administrative assistant will be a plus
- _Experience in the following is considered an asset: Social Media, Google Ads/ Marketing_
**Strong opportunity for advancement.**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
