We are a busy multi-location optometric clinic providing comprehensive vision care to the communities of Barrhaven and Manotick. Our doctors of Optometry offer vision and eye health exams, as well as ocular disease management. Our optical dispensary, on-site lab, and well-trained staff provide the very best vision solutions for our patients. We're looking for an exceptional, self-motivated receptionist to join our team. We strive to provide individualized personal care to our patients and are looking for someone with a positive, friendly attitude to join us.
- Have excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills
- Have exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Be able to work under pressure and multi-task

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Greeting patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Performing preliminary testing for patients prior to examination. This includes taking retinal photos, checking the eye pressures, and getting a baseline prescription for the doctors
- General office duties include patient scheduling and recalls, maintaining the patient database, and telephone triage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.50-$18.50 per hour
