**REPORTS TO: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER**

**BEACON UTILITY CONTRACTORS LIMITED**

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Reviewing and processing invoices and payments as per the internal procedure
- Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions such as purchases, payments and money receipts in the appropriate software or ledger
- Preparing and processing bank deposits
- Assisting with monthly preparation of financial statements
- Inputting credit card transactions and keeping track of receipts
- Maintaining filing system for invoices, cheque copies and contracts
- Assisting in year-end preparation for audits, providing the required financial documentation and support during internal audits
- Assisting year end/periodical inventory
- Calling and following up with clients for collection

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance

and Jonas an asset
- Understanding of payments, accounting, and budgeting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail, meticulous and double checks their work
- Ability to work under pressure with competing deadlines
- Must be a quick learner
- Time management, high attention to detail, team player, self-starter and can work independently
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality in working with sensitive information
