We are a team on a mission to Make Health Simple and as we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Junior Category Manager to further accelerate achieving our purpose.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage/ purchase a portfolio of health and wellness product categories (5,000+ skus)
- Executing and improving upon the current procurement operations, and data mgmt
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
- Work closely with our partners (vendors) to negotiate terms and ensure the best product selection/ pricing
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute category-specific promotional strategies
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock levels
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
- Planning and executing category management and promotional initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing product-related inquiries/issues
- Reports to: Owner/CEO

**Job Requirements/Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in category management, merchandising, or related roles in an eCommerce or retail environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing many categories and 5,000+ products for an eCommerce Shopify store
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Passion for health and wellness and a strong understanding of industry trends.(TikTok, blogs, podcasts etc)
- Working out of the office a minimum of 3 days per week
- Working in the warehouse 5 hours a week (stocking shelves, receiving, etc)
- Attending the annual Canadian Health Association weekend show in Toronto each fall

**Software Experience**
- Google spreadsheets
- Shopify
- Google trends and other trend tools
- Quickbooks (bonus)

- Oakville, near Oakville Place Mall at Trafalgar & QEW
