The Payroll Administrator position is for you, if you would enjoy:

- Assist the Payroll Manager with the processing of the Payroll
- Performing a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities
- Computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions, and processing terminations
- A hybrid in-office/remote schedule

Key Accountabilities - your team is counting on you as a Payroll Administrator to:

- Data entry for new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions etc.
- Assist with the processing of the payrolls.
- Ability to process record of employments, final payments and paid time off calculations.
- Assist, run and review quarterly and year end reports.
- Assist with T4s Reconciliation
- Assist with Canadian reporting requirements
- Assist with processes related to payroll runs/monitoring jobs requested
- Process garnishments
- Filing
- Performs all other duties as may be required by the needs of the business but not limited to the above responsibilities

Payroll Administrator Required Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of experience processing Canadian payroll
- 1-3 years of Workforce Now/ Ceridian and Kronos experience
- Ability to work independently and under mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in problem analysis, issue resolution, planning and time management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality information, professional demeanor under pressure, and effectively work with employees at all levels
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Payroll ,HR or related field

Payroll Administrator Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of Canadian Payroll, Labor, and Tax laws
- An understanding of Payroll Registers and all Payroll Reporting
- Understands how to withhold Provincial Taxes, Canada Pension Plan and Employment Insurance Contributions
