Payroll Administrator

Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Maintain employee records and update changes in employee status, tax withholding, and direct deposit information
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 preparation
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration or related field
- Proficient in data entry and payroll software (e.g. Ceridian, Workday, UltiPro)
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions is a plus
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends or issues
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of account reconciliation processes is preferred
- Familiarity with human resources practices is a plus
