Academic Coordinator

As an Academic Coordinator at IBT, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of academic programs and contributing to the success of our students. You will work closely with faculty, students, and administrative staff to coordinate and enhance the overall academic experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with faculty to develop and update curriculum materials.
- Monitor and evaluate academic programs to ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of student orientations and academic events.
- Provide academic advising and support services to students.
- Oversee scheduling of classes, ensuring optimal use of resources and accommodating student needs.
- Coordinate and facilitate the placement of students in internships or relevant career opportunities.
- Update students' programs and schedules as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with academic requirements.
- Track and analyze student performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to address student concerns and inquiries.
- Foster a positive and inclusive academic environment for students and faculty.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes to inform program development.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Previous experience in academic coordination or related roles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of career-focused education and industry trends.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with academic advising and student support services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and academic management software.
**Salary**: From $1.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
