After School Program Coordinator (Part-Time)

Reporting to the Head of Lower Schools, you are responsible for assisting the Before/After School Coordinator by supervising Lower School students before and after school. You work collaboratively with a team of educational professionals utilizing a variety of resources to engage students in developmentally appropriate activities before school begins and after classes have concluded.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervises and monitors registered Lower School students by overseeing homework completion, leading cooperative games and activities, and supervising outside playground games
- Coordinates student attendance with faculty and coaches as necessary
- Communicates with parents and guardians regarding information such as absences and pick-up times
- Prepares the billing statements for the Business Office
- Supervises students as they meet their parents in the parking lot
- Assists with end of day dismissal in the parking lot
- Completes other duties as required
- Postsecondary education in Early Childhood Education or its equivalent a related field
- Experience working with children ages 8 - 12
- Passion, creativity, and commitment to the role, team and School mission
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Growth mindset, curiosity and willingness to accept new perspectives
- Compassion, and a desire to cultivate courage and nurture connection

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
