**The Role**
We’re hiring for our first **Regional Business Development Manager** to lead the growth of our referral network across the Greater Toronto Area—home to our largest and fastest-growing cluster of clinics.
This role is dedicated to identifying, building, and deepening relationships with medical providers—including physicians, surgeons, and other health professionals—to drive consistent referral volume and unlock new client acquisition across our GTA clinics.
You’ll represent Myo in the medical community, design and execute a high-touch area/territory growth plan, and act as a strategic partner to our clinic and marketing teams—all while helping redefine what physical therapy can look and feel like.
This role reports directly to the CEO and will work closely with clinic operations, marketing, and data/analytics leaders.
- This is a **field-based role** with regular local travel across the GTA and some hybrid flexibility.
**What You'll Do: \uD83D\uDD17 Referral Growth & Relationship Management**:
- Build and manage a territory plan focused on expanding referral networks
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with physicians and allied health professionals
- Schedule and execute in-person visits, lunch-and-learns, and education sessions
- Confidently speak to Myo’s differentiators through clinical storytelling, patient case studies, and outcome data
- Reactivate dormant referrers and retain existing partners through consistent value-add touchpoints
- Maintain a centralized CRM system (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce) to track activities and report on referral trends and pipeline health
**\uD83E\uDD1D Clinic & Cross-Team Collaboration**:
- Partner closely with Clinic Directors, Lead Clinicians, and Operations Leads to ensure a seamless experience for referred clients
- Close the loop with providers through proactive updates and patient feedback
- Monitor the referral funnel for quality and conversion
- Surface friction points or capacity constraints to internal teams
- Coordinate with marketing on co-branded activations or referral-based campaigns
**\uD83D\uDE80 Strategic Growth Initiatives**:
- Support new clinic launches through pre-opening outreach and rapid referral ramp-up
- Analyze referral data to inform strategy and uncover new opportunities
- Explore and nurture strategic partnerships (e.g. concierge clinics, sports orgs, rehab networks)
- Advocate for tools, resources, and messaging to better support our provider community
**What Success Looks Like**:
- Grow and retain a strong network of referring providers
- Drive measurable referral volume to Myo clinics across the GTA
- Ensure a seamless, high-touch experience for both providers and clients
- Confidence with performance-based targets and growth KPIs
- Maintain clear CRM tracking and contribute to territory strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally to unlock new growth opportunities
**What You Bring**:
- 3-5+ years experience in business development, physician liaison, or healthcare partnerships
- Familiarity with the GTA healthcare ecosystem (existing MD relationships are a major asset)
- A polished communicator who can clearly articulate clinical outcomes and value
- Strong presentation and networking skills; comfortable leading lunch-and-learns or speaking at medical events
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate clinical language and patient outcomes
- Comfort working across both clinical and operational stakeholders
- Highly self-directed with strong organizational and CRM discipline
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
