Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner.

Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.

Support month-end closing procedures by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records.

Help prepare financial reports, summaries, and documents as needed.

Provide support during audits by preparing requested documentation and information.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.

Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents.

Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and efficiencies.

Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

Previous experience in an accounting or finance support role is an asset.

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
