**POSITION OVERVIEW**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead, guide, train, and mentor production technicians
- Assign and oversee work allocation
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training new team members
- Communicating with other departments regarding potential problems or delays impacting deadlines
- Establish work schedules for operators and technicians
- Review time sheets for accuracy and approval
- Coordinate cleaning and maintenance of production machines (printers, cutters, laminators, etc.) and provide routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Complete printing and sign manufacturing processes when required
- Establish good interdepartmental relationships to help balance conflicting priorities
- Establish and review standard operating procedures, practices, and policies
- Monitor and lead worksite safety and compliance within production
- Provide progress reports to Production Manager
- Other duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Working experience with SAP an asset
- Experience leading small to medium-sized teams
- Positive hardworking attitude
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet short timelines
- Handle precise calculations in measurements, conversions, and other amounts.
- Experience with Google spreadsheets
- Knowledge of provincial sign specifications in Western Canada is considered an asset
- Experience with manufacturing/lean manufacturing an asset

**HOURS OF WORK**

The typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
