**Your Impact as Information Technology Coordinator**

You are responsible for organizing and overseeing key IT functions within PVSC. You are responsible for defining and documenting business requirements for IT Services, coordinating IT projects, and organizing testing with both IT and business users because of patches, upgrades, or new solutions.

You are responsible for managing the Change Advisory Board (CAB), overseeing IT contracts and leases, and organizing larger IT procurements. You will work with internal divisions, as well as existing and potential new vendors and possess sound judgement, excellent communication, and navigation skills.

**How You Will Contribute**

**IT Process and Policy Management**
- Manages existing and new IT processes as well as oversees the Change Advisory Board (CAB) within PVSC
- Coordinates the development and maintenance of IT policies and procedures.

**Business Systems Analysis**
- Works directly with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions and documents business and system requirements and leads consultation with business stakeholders on how to effectively utilize technology.

**Project Coordination**
- Develops and manages project plans and coordinates project activities, resources, and communications.

**Testing Coordination**
- Organizes user testing sessions, creates test plans and test cases, conducts testing, and ensures documentation is up to date.

**Contract Management**
- Manages the inventory of PVSC contracts and assists with the collection of business requirements and preparation of procurement documents..
- Supports significant IT procurements such as device refreshes.

Performs other related duties and participates in other activities, as assigned.

**What You Bring**

You will possess a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience; or have a related diploma and eight (8) years of related experience; or have ten (10) years of related experience.

You will also have the following skills or experience:

- Demonstrated prioritization skills, sound judgement, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven knowledge of day-to-day IT processes and operational support procedures.
- Ability to effectively explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Effective and resourceful problem-solving skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and intellectually curious.
- Passionate about continuous service improvement.
- Ability to manage various tasks while maintaining deadlines under pressure with a strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of IT Project management methodologies, IT procurement, vendor, and contract management.
- Independent self-starter with the ability to operate at a high level with general direction.
- Capability to coordinate IT projects and testing

Special Requirements
- This role requires occasional travel throughout the province and requires a valid Class 5 driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
