**Role Summary**
The Vice President, Information Technology, a member of Numeris’ Senior Executive Team, is responsible for informing and delivering a technology strategy supporting Numeris’ multi-year strategic plan. This role leads a department of 25+ employees in providing the delivery of the full range of IT services and Enterprise Architecture, partnering with our Product and Operations Teams in implementing Numeris’ strategic priorities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Working closely with the CEO, the VPs of Product and Operations as well as the rest of the Senior Executive Team, establishes and delivers the strategic direction of Numeris’ information systems and solutions.
- Identifies and recommends new technologies and services to support the product roadmap, business development and improve efficiency, processes and operations.
- Drives operational excellence and guidance (technology, policies, processes, and best practices) to the different IT teams including Security & Infrastructure, Application Development, and the Service Desk while working in close partnership with business stakeholders.
- Develops department budget and forecasts to represent the expense and capital needs of IT; monitors actual expenses against the forecast.
- Oversees, talent within the department (directly and indirectly), responsible for related people management activities. Ensures the development of people remains a priority in the meeting of current and future state objectives.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Certification of Cloud Based Skills (AWS, Azur etc.)
- At least 7 years of experience in a senior, people management role with exposure to all areas of IT
- Deep understanding of all areas of Information Technology including Application Development/Support and experience with cloud computing (from both a design and deploy perspective), Infrastructure, Service Desk, IT Architecture, IT Project Management, and Business Intelligence
- Strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking skills
- Leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others within the team and cross functionally
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Vendor management; understanding of work process improvement skills (e.g. Six Sigma or equivalent) including evaluating/implementing new tools and solutions that enable the company’s strategic plans.
