**Position Overview**:
The Assistant Front Office Manager assists the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Rooms division for our dual properties in Invermere, B.C.

**Key Responsibilities**:
While leading your team at this property, you will be empowered to embrace the following duties, as well as other duties communicated by Management:
**Day-to-day operations**:

- Maintain an accurate inventory of rooms, reservations, and room assignments.
- Serve as Front Office liaison with Housekeeping and Maintenance to manage and block guest rooms as necessary.
- Communicate room’s challenges/inventory concerns to front office team daily.
- Coordinate projects and activities, maintaining correct inventory of on-going rejuvenation projects in MMS (i.e. mattress, sofa, T.V. replacements in guest rooms)
- Attending telephone calls and monitor IA concierge.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests.
- Communicate effectively with all other departments within the hotel.
- Stand-in for any member of staff that is unavailable to carry out their duties to prevent service disruptions.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Providing great guest experiences**:

- Meeting and greeting guests with a warm welcome
- act as the “face” of the resort.
- Ensure guest satisfaction is a top priority, with all departments consistently delivering exceptional service.
- Being attentive to guests’ needs and wishes, taking opportunities to optimize the guest experience.
- Listen to customers’ feedback and ensure that the complaints are addressed efficiently and effectively.
- Represent the culture of INNHotels and build repeat guests.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**:
You are a team player who is excited to create a wonderful experience for the guests of INNHotels You are positive, driven and have a 'glass half full' outlook on life.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication and people skills.
- Friendly and pleasant demeanor, courteous, self-motivated, and professional.
- Ability to work efficiently with mínimal supervision, independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work different shift hours and stand for an entire shift.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong computer skills: knowledge of WebRezPro PMS is preferred, but not necessary.
- 3+ years of previous Front Desk, Housekeeping and/or Customer Service experience is required.
- 2+ years of previous Leadership experience is required.
- Relevant education and experience in a hospitality or tourism setting is preferred.
