**Job Summary**:
The Operations Manager position at the Copper Point Resort (181 rooms) and Invermere Inn & Suites (47 rooms) plays a crucial role in supporting and collaborating with the General Manager in the overall management and operations of both hotels. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of various departments within the hotels and maintaining high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of each hotel while fostering a positive work environment and contributing to our successful company culture initiatives.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to develop and implement strategic plans and operational goals for the hotel.
- Assist in creating and monitoring budgets, financial reports, and revenue management strategies.
- Supervise and provide guidance to department heads, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food and Beverage and other operational departments.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff members.
- Ensure guest satisfaction is a top priority and that all departments are consistently delivering exceptional service.
- Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and effectively, taking appropriate measures to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- Foster and develop business relationships within the community.
- Monitor operations to identify areas for improvement and implement efficient systems and develop SOP’s.
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for key operational positions.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback to department heads and staff members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, address performance issues, and recognize outstanding achievements.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and standards.
- Other duties as suitably assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Proven experience in hotel operations management, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including food and beverage, banquets, front office, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and systems, including Webrez Pro, Revinate and preventative maintenance software.
- Understanding of financial management principles and budgeting.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding guest service and maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations in the hospitality industry.
