Rodina is a fast-growing company searching for a talented Project Coordinator. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for planning and progressing work through the shop and field (Installs and Service).
**Responsibilities**:
- Works closely with the Sales and Drafting team to ascertain job requirements, materials and labour, and related costs.
- Maintains ongoing awareness of current projects in progress or scheduled, provides input into the planning process with shop and field activity.
- Participates in shop planning, work scheduling and loading, materials and equipment acquisition and related activities to promote productivity and deliver finished products within committed timeframes.
- Reacts to and initiates remedial measures in response to unforeseen circumstances.
- Supports the ordering of materials and solving vendor billing problems.
- Builds and prepares job files to present to the production team for execution. This includes programming the CNC for production moving forward.
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of cabinet manufacturing, production scheduling and overall coordination of full production cycle activities (i.e., from job planning and preparation to delivery and installation.)
- Familiarity working with Mozaik or equivalent (e.g., Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD Etc.)
- Knowledge of various materials, equipment, and processes and the ability to effectively utilize the same to solve complex production problems and requirements.
- Skilled in equipment operation, material handling, etc., and creating finished products conforming to design specifications and quality requirements.
- Ability to adapt to and implement work priorities changes to support the production shop and its productivity.
**Education and Experience**:
- High school diploma.
- Certificate/diploma/degree in Business Management, Project Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Cabinet Manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of proven success in project coordination or management.
- Minimum 2 years in industry procurement and purchasing.
- Minimum 1-year of Lean Manufacturing experience is an asset.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$77,770.34 per year

**Education**:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Project management/Coordination: 3 years (preferred)
- procurement and purchasing: 2 years (preferred)
- Lean manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
- Cabinet Manufacturing: 5 years (required)
**Language**:
- English fluently (preferred)
