We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our growing team
This is a full time, permanent position with an excellent benefits package and room for growth.
**Main Duties**:
- Work with prospects to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands.
- Conduct presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to prospects.
- Work with management to develop proposals.
- Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations.
- Manage the complexity of Managed IT services proposals, contracts, lease agreements.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company.
- Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer’s needs.
- Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
- Responsible for entering time and expenses as they occur.
- Understand processes by completing assigned training materials.
- Enter all work as activities.
- **This position will require frequent local travel - reliable transportation and a driver's permit is required**
**Required Skills**:
- New Business Development experience with selling relevant services and products.
- Possess a track record of managing the customer commitment, negotiation, and closing of the sales process.
- Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships.
- Enjoy working with customers and external audiences.
- High energy and drive with good negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Skill in preparing written communications and materials.
- Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
- Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- 3-5 years: Outside sales experience with selling relevant services and products
- 3-5 years: B2B sales experience

**Salary Range - $65,000-75,000 base salary (plus commission)**
**_ The position is not an engineering position and is not intended as a stepping stone to become an engineer. You do not need to worry about your ability to solve technical issues for clients._**

Place outbound calls
Cold call clients
Visiting prospective clients
Follow up marketing campaign/leads
Attend networking/tradeshow events
Send proposals/quotes to clients
Research vendor requirements
Find alternate products/solutions
Learn new products
Attend Sales/marketing meetings
Proactively check on clients during the first 90 days
