We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Developer to join our team. As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in all areas where Rope Access may be utilized, with emphasis on the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors in Canada. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the Canadian market.
- Develop and implement business strategies to increase revenue and profitability in Canada.
- Prepare and present business proposals to clients in Canada.
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Attend industry events and conferences in Canada to stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the renewable energy sector in Canada.
- Accurate forecast of pipeline and opportunities
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development.
- Experience with rope access techniques for renewable energy projects in Canada
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites in Canada as required.
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
**Experience**:
- Business development: 3 years (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (preferred)
