**About the Role**
**What You’ll Do**:
- Welcome patients and guide them through their visit
- Answer calls with care, resolving inquiries effectively
- Manage patient charts and ensure accurate documentation
- Process discharge and billing information into our EMR system
- Register patients efficiently and accurately
- Handle correspondence, mail, and courier services
- Maintain an organized and welcoming waiting area
- Assist the Nurse Manager with tasks to keep the centre running smoothly
**Skills & Qualifications**
- Completed a recognized Medical Office Assistant program or have equivalent hands-on experience.
- Preferred: 2-5 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and OR Manager systems is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to excel in fast-paced environments and effectively prioritize tasks both independently and within a team.
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Adheres to strict policies, procedures, and legislated requirements, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
