If you are, we want you on our team_ **Job Summary** **Key Responsibilities**: - Plan and manage fundraising annual events and initiatives, and oversee the coordination of logistics. - Identify, build, and nurture relationships with donors and sponsors and manage donor recognition programs. - Develop and execute marketing plans to promote the benefits of House Of Kin to various markets such as medical offices, hospitals, and senior centers across the Northeast. - Deliver engaging presentations within the community and collaborate with other organizations in shared goals. - Manage and organize volunteers for various tasks. - Perform various administrative duties such as tracking event and fundraising performance, preparing reports, processing donations, among other functions. **Qualifications**: - Experience and/or education in fundraising in a nonprofit environment would be an asset. - Good administrative skills with attention to detail. - Confidence in connecting with potential sponsors/donors and presenting to diverse audiences. - Building and maintaining relationships. - Leadership experience in managing volunteers. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and various social media platforms. - Flexibility, creativity, and the ability to manage competing priorities with mínimal supervision. - Willingness to perform various administrative tasks. - Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clear Police Record Check. **About the House of Kin**: Founded in 1997, the House of Kin is a 32-room, non-profit hotel committed to excellence in family-oriented, affordable accommodation in support of people, and those with loved ones, traveling to Greater Sudbury seeking medical treatment and services.
