**About Us** **The Role: Your Path to a Career in Technical Sales** We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be the engine of our sales team. This role is primarily focused on generating new business opportunities for the entire Canadian market. You will be responsible for identifying, researching, and initiating conversations with future Robatech customers. **Primary Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Market Development** - **CRM & Database Mining**: Proactively search our CRM database to identify and re-engage with dormant leads and past prospects, uncovering new opportunities for the team. - **Market Research**: Utilize modern lead-generation tools to conduct thorough market research, identify target companies, and build highly focused prospect lists. - **Qualify and Nurture**: Engage prospects in initial conversations to understand their needs, qualify their potential, and educate them on the value of Robatech's solutions. - **Handoff to Senior Sales**: Once a lead is qualified, your responsibility is to seamlessly schedule discovery calls and transition the opportunity to a Senior Sales team member for further development. - **Track & Report**: Meticulously track all activities in our CRM system to ensure clean data, support team forecasting, and report on key metrics. **Secondary Responsibilities: Sales & Account Support** - Assist in managing a portfolio of house accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and identifying immediate needs. - Collaborate with the team to prepare sales materials, technical proposals, and quotations as needed. - Act as a key point of contact for inbound inquiries, routing them to the appropriate team member. **What We're Looking For** - **A Hunger to Learn and Grow**: You are driven, coachable, and excited by the prospect of building a long-term career in technical sales. - **Highly Organized & Process-Oriented**: You thrive on structure and are skilled at managing your time, tracking activities, and handling a high volume of outreach. - **Technical Aptitude**: You possess a strong mechanical or technical mindset with a genuine curiosity for how industrial machinery works. - **Resilience & a Positive Attitude**: You are a self-starter with the tenacity to handle rejection and stay motivated in a role focused on prospecting. - **Research Skills**: You enjoy the "hunt" and are adept at using various tools to research companies and identify key contacts. - A post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a technical field is an asset. - A valid driver's license is required. **Bonus Points If You Have**: - Previous experience in a lead generation role (SDR/BDR). - Hands-on experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools. - Knowledge of the manufacturing, packaging, or industrial adhesives industry. **What We Offer** - A competitive salary with a performance-based commission/bonus structure tied to generating qualified leads. - **A clearly defined career path** for advancement into an independent sales role. - A supportive, collaborative team environment where your contributions directly fuel our growth. **Ready to Start Your Career With Us?** Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Additional pay: - Commission pay Schedule: - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Woodbridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Willingness to travel: - 25% (preferred) Work Location: In person
