**The Role**

We are seeking a Hospitality Coordinator to join our team. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that blends guest experience, event coordination, and leadership. You will be at the heart of Black Fox’s visitor experience, welcoming guests to the distillery, coordinating and executing events, and ensuring that every tasting, tour, and encounter reflects the premium quality of our brand.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the Black Fox retail and cocktail patio experience, ensuring consistent quality of service and atmosphere.
- Lead and develop the hospitality team, including recruitment, termination, on-boarding, training, performance management, scheduling and support
- Lead and deliver exceptional guest experiences including whisky/gin tastings, distillery tours, and VIP visits.
- Coordinate and execute corporate, private and seasonal events.
- Contribute to sales growth through product knowledge, storytelling, and upselling opportunities.
- Manage event logistics, including set-up/take-down, equipment, and inventory.
- Support Black Fox’s social media presence by contributing content ideas and event highlights.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in hospitality, event coordination, or guest services.
- Strong customer service and leadership skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable with the physical aspects of event set-up (lifting, moving equipment, etc.).
- Experience with scheduling and staff coordination.
- Sales ability and confidence in promoting premium products.
- Social media savvy and comfortable representing the Black Fox brand online.
- Formal education in hospitality/event management is an asset but relevant experience is highly valued.

**Work Schedule**
- Primarily Wednesday - Sunday, daytime.
- Flexibility required for some evenings, weekends, and special events.

**Compensation & Perks**
- Salary: CAD $42,000 - $50,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
