This is a full-time role that will include office hours and on-site venue openings and launches.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok etc.)
- Developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Creating and curating engaging content, including text, image, and video posts
- Monitoring and responding to comments and messages from the audience
- Analyzing social media metrics and insights to track performance and optimize strategies
- Collaborating with marketing teams to integrate social media into overall marketing campaigns
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
- Using social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Hootsuite) to schedule posts and analyze performance
- Managing paid social media advertising campaigns to achieve specific business objectives
**Skills and abilities required**:
- Cegep degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies and campaigns
- Extensive knowledge ( 3+ years) of the social media landscape, with an understanding of up-scale hospitality (restaurants and nightlife) and a passion for integrating current trends and creating fresh ideas
- Self-motivated and resourceful with excellent organizational skills including the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and co-ordinate a number of projects/campaigns simultaneously in response to specific marketing needs
- Strong leadership skills with the capacity to effectively manage a small team
- Ability to expand our social media presence into Tik Tok, Twitter, Threads, and LinkedIn
- Proficiency in social media management tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Creative thinking with a passion for nightlife and entertainment
- Problem-solving skills
**Must haves**:
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and personnel simultaneously
- Live in Montreal and its surroundings
**Working conditions**:

- 6 accounts to manage as of today
- The Social Media Specialist will have an a social media assistant
- Monday to Friday (with the exception of special events)
- 40 h per week
