We are looking for **a Social Medial Specialist** for a **permanent position**.
The Social Media Specialist position involves looking after and executing social media strategies to build brand awareness, engage with audiences, and drive business objectives across various platforms. They serve as the window to our brand, determining what content is shared, how it's presented, and in what format.

**Your day-to-day**:

- Manage communities across multiple platforms (answer comments, answers messages, like relevant publications, interact with key industry players, repost user generated content, etc )
- Work closely with creators to publish on-time and relevant video/image content
- Prospect and manage influencer relations, with support from the Communications Manager
- Stay updated on industry trends, social media platform updates, and emerging topics to capitalize on opportunities for content creation and engagement
- Find and curate relevant content from other sources to share on our channels
- Create content and conceptualize them
- Schedule content and monitor at the time of posting for engagement
- Build and update the monthly report
- Draft captions for all social media posts
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop the seasonal planning and translate it into strategies and tactics for all social media channels
- Collaborate with the internal team of Designers to create the content
- Participate and help in PR events

**Your assets**:

- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, communication, marketing, or related field
- A minimum of **2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position**, managing social media channels for consumer brand, managing marketing campaigns, creative writing, consumer engagement, creating high-quality content
- **Fully bilingual in English and French**:

- **Professional creative writing**:

- Creating relatable and engaging static and video content for social media channels
- Marketing principles
- Negotiation skills
- Communication skills for both internal and external audience
- **Analytics skills**:

- Knowledge of evolving social media platforms best practices and regulations
- Knowledge in building social media strategy
- Knowledge of social media KPIs, and in tools for posting and reporting
