We are looking for a Tier 1 Study Associate to join our team who demonstrates our core values, and is eager to be a part of our mission.

This position is a hands on administrative role pertaining to the successful running and completion of research studies. The job requires solid communication skills to ensure a contemporaneous link between the Animal Health staff and the research team, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the handling and processing of study documents including:

- Collect, compile and maintain all raw data for assigned studies
- Determine accuracy of all paperwork before filing in study binder
- Arrange to have any data errors promptly addressed
- Ensure forms are available, accurate and appropriate prior to study start
- In coordination with Study Director/Investigator, ensure staff complete study documents and data collection forms relevant for the study and provide any further guidance during the study to aid in optimal implementation of study procedures
- Ensure ordering and use management of study specific non-laboratory consumables e.g. food and medical supplies
- Oversee preparation of study specific equipment and materials
- Perform other duties as required/assigned when training and experience allows
- Assistance with laboratory activities or study procedures (training provided)

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree/diploma
- Knowledge of GLP/GCP regulations is considered an asset, but not required

**Shift**:

- Full time, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
- Position requires some flexibility in shifts due to study requirements with weekend work required occasionally (organized with the employee in advance)

**Compensation**:

- Salary range $40,000 - $50,000, commensurate with research experience
- Fully covered health and dental benefits, no cost to the employee
- 10 days annual paid vacation
- 10 days annual paid personal emergency leave

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
