Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations specific to the transport industry
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate and conduct safety training programs for Drivers, including new hire orientation and ongoing training sessions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop preventive measures
- Maintain safety records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Strong communication skills to effectively train employees on safety protocols
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
