The loss prevention team is looking for an intern to join them at our Head Office for a paid, full-time, 12-week summer internship.
As a GDI intern, you will be a contributing member of our team and will have the opportunity to fully participate in our business. Join us for an immersive summer of hands-on experience at a leading fashion retailer.
Reporting to the Regional Loss Prevention Manager, the Loss Prevention Intern will be working with the team responsible for ensuring compliance to all activities and processes that serve to protect company assets and to achieve a reduction to the overall company's losses.
**Responsibilities**:
- Internal Audits;
- Produces internal reports and performs audits on various data from stores by banner;
- Investigates P.O.S transactions using different validating steps (i.e. cameras systems, in store inventory results and in store physical count);
- Performs analysis and various reports on cash shortages and missing deposits obtained by the cash audit department;
- Promptly investigates bank deposits issues for quick action/reaction for regional loss prevention manager and field auditors;
- Will work on the weekly dashboard and potentially other special projects.
**Qualifications**:
- Proficient with Excel and MS Office Suite;
- Bilingual (French/English) with strong communication skills, both oral and written;
- Thoroughness, attention to detail.
