**Asset Protection Internal Auditor**

**Job summary**:
The Asset Protection team is looking for an Asset Protection (AP) Internal Auditor. Reporting to the National Sales Director and providing support to the Asset Protection Field Managers, the AP Internal Auditor will be responsible for ensuring compliance of all activities and processes to help maintain the security of company assets. The Auditor will conduct internal and external investigations to achieve a reduction to the overall company losses. The Internal Auditor will also be responsible for supporting Asset Protection programs, policies, and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze on a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis various reports and investigate any suspicious activities that may lead to asset loss:

- Refund reports - cash/debit card/credit card and gift cards;
- Online voids and canceled transaction reports;
- Reports showing unusual discounts;
- Price override reports;
- Employee discounts reports.
- Support Asset Protection Field Managers on various aspects:

- Internal & external merchandise theft;
- Counterfeit bills and quick-change artists;
- Perform analyses and investigate cash shortages and/or missing deposits reported by the Cash Audit dept;
- Investigate POS transactions via the camera systems and the store’s RFID inventory count results;
- Run on-demand reports.
- Provide support on various administrative tasks;
- Validate suspicious activities from different sources;
- Run various reports and/or requests related to special projects.

**Qualifications**:

- College degree (DEC, technical diploma, community college diploma);
- Minimum of 5-7 years in a similar position within an Internal Asset Protection (or Loss Prevention) & Cash Auditing Department (in a retail environment);
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office);
- Knowledge in sales audit and point of sales transactions will be considered an asset;
- Knowledge of exception-based reporting, loss prevention exception-based software will be considered an asset;
- Knowledge in basic inventory controls will be considered an asset.
