**Regional Risk Management Manager (Ontario & Atlantic)**

**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Director of Risk Management, the Ontario/Atlantic Risk Management Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring shrink remains under company objectives, while proactively managing asset protection, security and shrink reduction programs in his District. The incumbent analyzes, prevents, and investigates suspicious activities at store level.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Analyzes business and stores’ loss prevention needs and provides recommendations on ways to reduce company losses, internally and externally;
- Controls shrinkage as per company standard;
- Review files with the Operations and Human Resources departments, as necessary, and provides recommendations;
- Inform the Operations Team and Human Resources representatives of all loss prevention situations.;
- Formulates monthly LP business review with the Sales Directors;
- Maintains and reinforces LP policies and procedures as well as LP programs and initiatives throughout his/her region;
- Evaluates shrink results and develops action plans with the Operations Team and stores;
- Manage to analyze, work on action plan to reduce shrink in the TOP 20 high shrinkage stores of his market on a monthly base;
- Performs audits and visits to underperforming stores on a regular basis and communicates to OPS Team in his/her region;
- Plans LP Audit calendar and conducts LP training and coaching to store Managers on an ongoing basis while leading a Loss Prevention Field Auditor;
- Main point of contact for any store assets and staff security;
- Controls all expenses related to traveling in his/her District - flights, hotels, food, rentals, etc.,

**Investigation**
- Analyzes various LP reports, loose tags, employee purchases, returns, voids;
- Investigates the information received from District Managers and Store Managers;
- Conducts employee interrogations and analyzes video tapes and manages case files with judicial authorities and banks;
- Plans, coordinates, and installs cameras, mirrors, and any other necessary security equipment in his/her region, as per action plan.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Partners with Sales Directors, District Sales Supervisors and Store Managers;
- Prepares monthly LP business review by Sales Directors;
- Takes part in the Operations Department’s conference calls on a regular basis;
- Leads all Store Emergency Tactical Team Conference Calls;
- Leads the bi-weekly Store Target Conference Calls with participating stores and District Managers;
- Must attend inventory cycle counts;
- Conducts or coordinates surveillance and attends court, if needed;
- Trains and supports new stores’ opening teams;
- Adheres to all new and existing Company policies and procedures;

**Qualifications**:

- Private investigator license from Ontario, a must;
- Minimum of 10 years experience in security and Loss Prevention in the retail industry;
- College degree (DEC, Technical diploma, Community college diploma);
- Professionalism and discretion are a must;
- Analytical skills;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize;
- Initiative;
- Communication and interpersonal skills;
- Detail-oriented;
- Assessment skills;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PPT;
- Requires travel within the region, including out of town locations according to company needs;
- Might have to work nights and weekends, as required;
- On call 24/7;
- Uses ladder as required;
- Works with low voltage electricity
