ITN Food Corporation, a leader in ethnic food production, import, and distribution, is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager for the Quebec & Nova Scotia Region to drive our expansion in these key areas of Canada. This role offers the opportunity to lead a sales team, build strategic relationships, and represent high-quality South Asian products through a blend of fieldwork, team management, and strategic planning.

As the Area Sales Manager for Quebec & Nova Scotia Region, you will oversee sales operations, lead a team of sales executives, and contribute to revenue growth by developing key accounts and expanding market presence. This full-time, permanent position involves team leadership, strategic sales planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, making it ideal for a results-oriented leader in a dynamic environment. This position reports to the National Sales Manager.
Role & Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales executives to achieve regional sales targets through coaching, performance tracking, and motivation.
- Territory Management: Oversee direct sales and business development in Quebec Province and Halifax Region (Nova Scotia), conducting market visits to acquire new customers and strengthen existing relationships.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key retailers, restaurants, and food outlets through in-person meetings, negotiations, and tailored solutions.
- Business Development: Identify growth opportunities across the region, leveraging market insights to expand into new segments and drive revenue.
- Product Strategy: Guide the team in presenting our products’ unique qualities, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company goals.
- Customer Service: Resolve escalated customer issues, such as complaints or returns, to maintain high satisfaction and loyalty levels.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, logistics, and senior management to align regional strategies with company objectives, sharing insights from the field.
- Market Awareness: Track industry trends, competitor activities, and regional preferences, providing actionable feedback to inform company-wide decisions.
- Event Representation: Lead participation in trade shows and events to boost ITN’s visibility and foster industry networks.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience: 5-7 years in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role; preferably in South Asian or Middle Eastern markets; food industry background is an advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Sales Performance: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets, team leadership, and securing new business through strategic sales approaches.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and sales analytics tools.
- Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire teams and connect with diverse stakeholders; fluency in Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is an asset but not required.
- Adaptability: Ability to handle challenges, manage a flexible schedule, and travel extensively, including occasional weekend events or market visits.

- Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability for events as needed.
