ProMach’s Labeling and Coding Business line is seeking a talented Area Sales Manager to join our team in the Calgary, Alberta area. This position contributes to the overall success of the company by proactively developing leads, establishing, maintaining excellent customer relations and selling company products and services within a defined territory at a level which increases the profitability of that region.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Sell ID Technology products including label, coding & marking equipment to targeted customers within the identified geographic territory
- Ensure our consumables are running through ProMach sold labeling, coding and marking equipment
- Work in conjunction with service and aftermarket to provide aftercare agreements
- Develop new and maintain existing account relations in an ethical and profitable manner
- Utilize sales force to develop business within current customer accounts and prospective customers.
- Prepare proposals & quotes for prospects within the company’s standard guidelines
- Keep current on trends from both market & technical standpoints

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Post secondary education in business or technology
- 3-5 years in selling equipment in a B2B environment based on total cost of ownership methods, preferably while selling packaging equipment
- Ability to identify customer needs and match their solution with company product/services
- Must have a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and a personal vehicle
- Travel expected, 2 times/month for developing business outside of the city
- Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial role
- Strong communication skills in French and English
