**Position Summary**

The Human Resources Assistant’s primary responsibility is to support and assist in the management of agency personnel. The Human Resources Assistant will be heavily involved in each step of employee onboarding as they will be responsible for completing the onboarding process, setting up / managing a large amount of employee data, monitoring mandatory training, developing offer letters, and administering benefits. Additionally, the Human Resources Assistant will also be required to assist in the completion of various human resources projects and initiatives.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources
- Experience in a Human Resources role is preferred
- Intermediate level experience in Word, Outlook, Excel and Publisher; experience working with an HRIS system is an asset
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written English)
- Ability to deal with and prioritize competing demands
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and independence
- Great interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Highly detail-oriented and strong work ethics
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience successfully managing a large amount of data entry tasks

**Typical Schedule**

The typical schedule for the Human Resources Assistant is Monday-Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, however, flexibility is required.

**Compensation**

Annual salary range of $53,841.82 to $64,661.44

Pay: $53,841.82-$64,661.44 per year
