**POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR** This position description describes the principal duties and responsibilities of this position and does not imply that they are the only duties and responsibilities to be performed. Part of the Greenfire Resources Employment Corporation Human Resources team, the Human Resources Advisor is expected to display conflict management and decision-making skills and have a solid understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and payroll and benefits administration. The goal is to ensure that all human resources needs of Greenfire Resources Employment Corporation (GROC) are being met and aligned with the business objectives. **JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: Reporting to the **Human Resources Manager** Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: - Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests. - Maintain digital/electronic records of employees. - Serve as point of contact with new hires during recruitment and onboarding process. - Ensure Human Resources guidelines are administered consistently across all departments and locations. - Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build positive culture and morale and increase productivity and retention. - Implement onboarding protocols with new staff to ensure they feel welcomed and informed. - Assist with performance management procedures. - Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas. - Update records for new staff. - Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET**: - 3+ years experience as an HR assistant or similar role. - Working knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce HRIS System for both payroll processing and adding in new hires - Effective HR administration and people management skills. - Full understanding of HR functions and best practices. - Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with ability to interact with employees at all levels, as well as build and maintain strong working relationships. - Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality in interpersonal interaction. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines. - Fantastic organizational and time management skills. - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. - Meticulous attention to detail. **CORE COMPETENCIES**: - Builds Personal Leadership, continually builds self-awareness and leadership effectiveness - Develops People & Greenfire Culture, demonstrates an unwavering commitment and investment in developing individuals, teams, our culture, and values - Fosters Collaboration, builds strong and trusting internal relationships by modelling and supporting collaboration across the company - Champions Business Excellence, leverages creative thinking, business insight and financial acumen to build operational efficiency and long-term business success - Shapes Vision & Strategy, strategies that are aligned with Greenfire and will support the overall vision of the company.
