We are hiring a full time **HR Generalist **to support our team in **Markham.** In this role you will be leading the HR Team at our York branch. This is a great opportunity for someone who is an experienced HR Professional and has 1 - 2 years of people management experience.

**Description du poste**
- Be a resource for Managers regarding health and safety
- Manages the full cycle recruitment for manager roles and above
- Conducts new hire orientation
- Rotates all other staff orientation with Coordinator
- Manages all front line staff leaves of absence including requests, processing documentation and monitoring timelines
- Supports HR Manager as needed in managing employee relations complaints/grievances
- Following completion of performance appraisals from Supervisors, update date in electronic file and confirm documentation
- Run reports from learning management system to record compliance for employee file purposes
- Ensures staff complete mandatory training as required
- Facilitates branch transfers (updated employment letters/agreements, update to Procura, coordination etc)

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field, CHRP designation preferred
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in human resources management in a variety of HR roles with particular emphasis in positive employee relations
- 1 - 2 years people management experience
- Experience working with employee groups and managers to resolve issues for the benefit of employees and the company
- Demonstrated experience in taking a proactive approach to maintain a positive work environment
