**Join our Team**:
We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who is personable and passionate about supporting and contributing to our site leadership and ensuring our team members are valued each day.
This role is based in our Markham, Ontario offices on sunny, green Allstate Parkway. We are conveniently located near Highway 404, with a direct connection to the Don Valley Parkway (DVP). The communities of Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, Scarborough, and north Toronto are located very close to our offices. We are focused on team participation and commit to working as a team in the office every day, with the opportunity of remote work location periodically.

**Who We Need**:
Someone who is passionate about people, and who is far from one-dimensional. This person will draw on experience to assist in the delivery of Human Resources services, policies, and programs to our Canadian team members to ensure achievement of the company’s core values and success. Success in this position is driven by an individual’s ability to set an agenda, develop capabilities, personally deliver services and solutions, and recruit and develop an engaged, qualified team.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Support the company’s established wage and salary structure and pay policies and advise operational managers on compensation related decisions.
- Be a great HR business partner to our management team across functional business lines.
- Maintain a positive employer-employee relationship and build strong relationships to promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
- Participate in employee relations investigations when employee complaints or concerns are raised.
- Facilitate payroll processing and retirement pension processes.
- Host on-boarding for our new team members.
- Complete benefit enrollments and related compliance reporting.
- Support the site leader to ensure workplace safety through employee education, emergency preparedness and facilities management.
- Contribute to site management including occasionally stocking of our kitchen snacks, organizing site events and maintaining site standards for a professional work force.
**What You’ll Need**:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, or related discipline; and three to five years professional related experience; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience.
- Three to Five years of progressive related experience in Human Resources, specifically in payroll practices and processing, retirement payroll contributions and benefits.
- Working knowledge of and proficiency with HRIS systems.
- Strong experience of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to communicate ideas to various stakeholders and lead approved ideas to successful execution
- Desire to be a contributor, a problem solver and integral part of our success
