**About the roles**

At Compass ELC you will support the Corporate and Administration Coordinator roles working closely with the Co-CEO's and the rest of the Peterborough Administration team. You will work with some of the most passionate, caring, and dedicated people in the industry, engaging, connecting, and learning alongside families, educators, children, and community partners. You will work 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, including approximately one evening per month to support the Board of Directors’ meeting or other ad-hoc events.

**Corporate Coordinator Accountabilities**:

- Working alongside the CEO to support corporate administration, such as filing requirements, record keeping, and other administrative support for the Board of Director meetings
- Creating and updating the corporate content on the website as needed
- Supporting the coordination, creation, and updating of policies to align with Organizational values, legislative and licensing requirements

**Administration Coordinator Accountabilities**:

- Working alongside and supporting the Peterborough-based administration office team
- Acting as a liaison and supporting relationships internally and externally
- Working alongside our Organization Link for Communications to support administrative coordination (such as meeting spaces, events, library, communication, etc.)

**Your Skills and Qualifications**
- Have a deep understanding of a strength-based approach toward the development of people
- Has a strong interest in policy development, values-based work, and an awareness of applicable non-profit legislation. (i.e. Canada’s Not-for-Profit Corporations Act), distributed leadership, and supporting a culture of a safe and joyful workplace.
- Relevant post-secondary education (e.g., diploma or degree) combined with depth and breadth of knowledge, understanding, and experience in early learning and care
- Ongoing commitment to lifelong learning for yourself and others
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, teams, forms, etc.
- Strong organization and communication skills
