**SUMMARY**:
In this position, you will report to the Quality Manager and work on landing gear product root cause investigations, creating standard work, and perform data analysis for the quality clinic department. As the Engineering Co-op Student, you also will interface with all levels of organizations and report activities that are directly related to the development of the overall Quality in the site.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Working Knowledge in CAD Software and GD&T
- Facilitate cross-functional investigations to determine root causes, establish corrective actions and drive to closure on a variety of technical and process issues.
- Help support data mining and analysis to advise business on quality performance.
- Create and develop standard work documents, quality alerts for the department.
- Perform other duties and engage in projects as assigned by management.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Events.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience in CAD software such as CATIA.
- Proficiency in Python and or Microsoft VBA macro would be considered an asset.
- Previous ERP experience would be considered an asset (SAP preferred).

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Lean Techniques.
