**QUALITY COORDINATOR**

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the **Quality Coordinator** provides operations support to, specifically, the Quality and Production Departments. The position is essential to ensure the production of quality products in a timely and efficient manner, for our customer base. The Quality Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the department and provides technical and administrative support to the Quality department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine and special audits of processes and products at various stages of the production process to identify opportunities for improvement and material non-conformances
- Complete all required supplier documentation, customer certificates of conformance and other reports
- Participate in and lead Quality improvement teams
- Provide support in all third-party external audits
- Participate and investigate customer complaints, providing root cause and corrective action
- Provide support to quality tech on shift
- Verify supplier quality and issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) when required
- Identify, hold and evaluate suspect material
- Maintain all calibration schedules and records for lab equipment
- Maintain the HFI and CAPA records; review and analyze HFIs and HFI data
- Send out samples for micro testing on monthly basis
- Uphold and support the Company’s Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies
- Utilize the control plan and testing plan and assure that the products produced meet requirements

**Requirements**:

- Five (5) years’ experience as a Quality Auditor in a manufacturing environment
- Strong math skills including statistical data analysis, as well as basic algebra
- Fluent in English. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 & BRC Packaging standards, HACCP an asset
- Understanding of standard process control
- Experience working with injection molding or manufacturing industry an assets
- Ability to support off shift enquiries
- Ability to work without direct supervision, self-starter
- Physical requirements include ability to stand and walk for long periods, good visual acuity, and physical dexterity
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate and work with others, and be assertive, as required
- Must have good problem solving and reasoning skills
- Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Strong computer skills - specifically Microsoft Office Suite
