Job Overview:
We are a small sized custom home builder that prides ourselves on innovation, quality, and strong customer service.
**Duties**:
- Coordinate and oversee residential construction projects from inception to completion
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Review and interpret project plans, schematics, and blueprints
- Utilize construction management software
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Conduct construction take-offs, estimating, and budget analysis
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise promptly
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Coordinating with Trades and Scheduling, including following up.
- Visit job sites (inspections, site meetings, etc.) Must have drivers license and own car.
- Meet clients to review projects
- Meet with Vendors and subtrades.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and commitment to completing goals.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in residential construction project management
- Proficiency in learning a construction management software as well already knowing AutoCAD or Chief Architect, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans
- Ability to draw buildable details or sketches.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to hold client meetings and communicate effectively.
- Very good computer skills
- Must have drivers license and own vehicle as site visits and supplier meetings will be out of office.
