**About This Opportunity**:
As a Professional Services Resource Manager, you will be working with the Professional Services Leadership team to manage and prioritize allocation of resources to incoming projects. You will assign available staff to projects based on needs and experience. Additionally, you will work with the PS Sales team to build and communicate forecasts in order to determine new or changing resource trends to ensure we have adequate resources and the right skills to meet customers needs.
The Resource Manager will have the opportunity to help build out our PS operations program. **Location**: Toronto, ON or Remote Canada
**Responsibilities**:
- Assign or reallocate available staff to projects based on skills and experience;
- Manage forecasts and initial soft allocations for upcoming new sales;
- Mitigate resourcing issues by reallocating resources or adding additional staff as needed;
- Report on allocations versus actuals to determine if any adjustments need to be made to project resource allocations;
- Report on overall project status, costs and other relevant information;
- Create and identify best practice for managing resources and communicating assignments;
- Manage global resource allocation and planning for all professional services engagements;
- Work closely with department leaders to maintain accurate system data for all employees;
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in business and/or human resources preferred;
- 1 to 3 years experience as a project/resource/HR manager in a related industry;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proficiency in data analysis;
- Strong problem solving skills;
- Time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks efficiently;
- Experience in either the LMS or HCM field a plus;
- Experience with Mavenlink (Kantata) or similar PSA tool.
