Role Summary

Major Areas of Responsibility
- Lead onboarding, ensuring a motivating and comfortable transition into becoming a Project X employee through personable introductions and orientation, as well as back-end processing.
- Assist with the development of human resources policies and programs.
- Ability to extract meaningful people & culture data and communicate metrics in an insightful way to enable business decision making
- Maintain employee-related databases and generate reports.
- Juggle employee requests, project work and regularly scheduled people initiatives and assignments.
- Day-to-day benefits administration services.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team in full cycle recruitment.
- Prepare and maintain confidential employment / contract documentation and status within the ATS.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other
- Employment law knowledge
- Empathetic with good communication skills
- Organized and manages time effectively
- Be adaptable and flexible
- Strong writing and Microsoft excel skills
- Experience with a compensation software is an asset

Required Education and Experience:

- Post-secondary Human Resources education or related
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- CHRP designation is an asset but not required
