Summary of Role & Key Responsibilities- Our resource recovery and waste management team provides commercially focused advice. You will have the opportunity to lead projects including completing market assessments to support waste technology and infrastructure investment decisions; advising companies seeking to reduce waste generation and improve waste utilization throughout the value chain, assessing processes for waste recycling and recovery and their ability to manufacture secondary raw materials to the required quality to access markets; and providing strategic support to waste management companies.
- Service Line Team Lead Role Objectives:
- Develop a service line strategy to respond to market needs for more sustainable resource recovery and waste management services. Seek opportunities to drive market transformation towards a more circular economy.
- Lead all elements of the service line strategy to successful execution, including business development, quality project delivery, marketing and thought leadership, and recruitment and retention, in partnership with Service Line team members, the Business Line Leader, and Business Line Operations Leader.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and drive the Service Line strategy, defining individual offerings, go to market and business plan, in close collaboration with the Practice Leader
- Define and develop leading service offerings to take to the market, that meet and exceed client needs and balance custom approaches with efficiency and repeatability. Evolve offerings as market needs and receptivity for innovation evolve.
- Oversee and optimize efficiency and quality of the delivery of offerings, including through provision of tools, templates, training and skills acquisition.
- Lead and direct business development activities related to the resource recovery and waste service offerings, including lead generation and development, marketing, proposal development, and active engagement with clients to establish and grow the relationships.
- Manage and optimize the Service Line’s financial and operational performance, working closely with the Business Line Operations Leader and internal support resources.
- Contribute to thought leadership on your offering internally and externally through activities such as blog posts, keynote presentations at industry events, and authoring white papers.
- Recruit, develop/ mentor, retain and manage talent, to achieve performance excellence within the Service Line, and under the guidance of the Business Line Operations Leader.
- Work collaboratively with other Service Line Leaders globally and share best practices/lessons learned.
- Manage, track, and report on ongoing service line opportunities and active projects.
- You will be expected to keep abreast of changing circular economy market dynamics, waste and resource recovery sector trends and technology developments, and implement strategic and tactical initiatives in response to emerging opportunities.
