Broker Account Manager

Job Summary
Reporting to the VP, Regional Sales, the Broker Account Manager brings a solid understanding of building relationships, in collaboration with the Ontario Account Manager’s, to maximize mortgage broker satisfaction when conducting sales calls to positively influence market share and regional NIW volumes with broker lenders (including Scotia Mortgage Authority, MFC’s, and applicable CU’s) across Ontario.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, conduct sales calls, and expand mortgage broker relationships to achieve market share and volume targets.
- Provide superior internal and external service to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Sagen Canada products/services.
- Identify and fulfill training needs for broker account base.
- Promote Sagen brand and visibility through social media use/engagement.
- Participate in industry broker events/presentations as applicable with AM peers.
- Manage and control expense budget for maximum return.
Skills and Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in business.
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in the financial services industry (preferably mortgage lending).
- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques (in particular relationship selling), and customer management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, presentation and computer (MS Office) skills.
- Ability to produce results in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and leverage data to enable the identification and resolution of problems.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
- Available to work extended hours including weekends.
- Some travel required.
