Our Supply Chain Management team is currently recruiting for a **Procurement Supervisor **to join the Arcfield Canada team in **Calgary. **Reporting to the Supply Chain Management Lead, you will use your procurement experience and leadership capabilities to ensure that the department is successful in managing the sourcing and purchasing of parts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise the purchasing department at Arcfield
- Obtain quotes and issue Purchase Orders for aviation related material
- Manage vendor relations
- Liaise with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure the correct parts are being supplied in a timely manner, this will include review of reports to ensure product alignment with timelines
- Build new reports and/or workflows to increase productivity

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 2+ years’ experience managing performance of at least one direct report
- 5+ years’ as a Purchasing Agent or Procurement Specialist
- Must have previous experience with aerospace purchasing (or related) or be able to showcase a high level of proficiency in sourcing parts
- Demonstrated experience working directly with vendors
- Ability to take the lead on projects and coordinate Purchasing Agent/Expeditor agendas and timelines
- Minimum high school diploma
- Customer service focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Supply Chain Management or Procurement courses/education. Preference will be given to applicant with a SCMP designation or willingness to pursue one.
- Willingness to learn new software programs
- Knowledge of the transport industry (air/rail/ship/etc.)
- Exposure to warehouse processes
