Additional responsibilities revolve around inventory care, procurement facilitation, and support for parts staff in their daily roles. The Parts Supervisor works with procurement and supply chain management to monitor stock levels and inventory count, coordinate with suppliers, and collaborate with the parts team. **Key Duties and Responsibilities**: - Oversee the day-to-day functions of the Parts Department including Production Parts and Shipping & Receiving. - Provide exceptional support to our production line and Service Department. - Schedule staff to ensure parts coverage in all areas. - Assist customers, shop, and staff when required. - Schedule and monitor on-call after-hours parts support. - Implement new processes and procedures through continuous process improvement. - Maintain and monitor 5S methodology in the department, stock room and warehouse areas. - Resolve customer complaints. - Work with the Procurement Coordinator to complete parts inventory maintenance. - Monitor payroll timecard inputs and process bi-weekly approvals of hourly parts staff. - Act as floor lead person for the inventory count process to monitor duties and see the process through. - Assist GM Parts in implementing marketing promotions that align with FPP and OEM annual expectations. - Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies when required. - Be familiar with all job functions within the department to ensure staff are supported. - Step in and assist with staff workload when required or appropriate. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Experience and Qualifications**: - Can-do attitude with a focus on exceptional customer satisfaction. - Hold a Parts Technician (Red Seal) certificate. - 2-4 years of parts sales experience. - 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience. - Valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract. - Knowledge of Industrial OEM engines such as John Deere, Kubota, Mitsubishi, and Kohler. - Technical knowledge of generators/machinery as an asset. - An understanding of typical Parts Department KPIs. - FIFO mentality with parts stocking and issuing orders. - Computer literacy to complete tasks in electronic format. - Knowledge of cross-border shipping requirements. - Excellent attention to detail. - Proficient with Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint. **Work Environment**: A Part Supervisor will occasionally be required to perform repetitive motions, including lifting, squatting, kneeling, bending, walking, torquing, pulling, carrying, pulling, crouching, backward positions, standing for extended periods, etc. **Physical Job Requirement**: This position requires occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 lbs. throughout a workday. **The Benefits**: - Competitive salary range from $70,000 to $80,000 per annum - Comprehensive health benefits including a $3,000 Health Spending Account - Paid training and tuition reimbursement - Paid vacation and sick time off - Pension plan **How to Apply**: If you believe your skill set matches the above description and are an enthusiastic, innovative, passionate and energetic individual please click on the "Apply" button to submit your resume for consideration.
