**POSITION BRIEF**: 1 FT Position (8 hour shifts)
- 2 years of experience working in a medical clinic is required
- MOA certificate required
- OSCAR Well EMR experience required

**MOA RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES; BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:
FRONT DESK:

- Managing referrals and tasks in OSCAR Well EMR
- Triaging telephone calls with confidence and kindness
- Booking/scheduling appointments
- Greeting patients and escorting them to rooms
- Using the POS machine

RUNNING ROOMS ASSISTANCE:

- Calling/billing patients with their INR results
- Height and weight for infants and adults
- Setting up pap smears, circumcision, excisions etc.
- Pregnancy tests, urinary tract infections and drug screening
- Autoclaving

FILE DESK:

- Scanning / Importing results into patient's charts
- E-Faxing prescriptions
- Third Party requests: Insurance companies, Lawyers, chart transfers
- Referrals: booking appointments, calling and informing patients.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must have a MOA Certificate
- Willing to work in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Maple Ridge location
- Works well independently as well as in a team environment
- Good working relationship with their colleagues, office manager and physicians
- Professional and kind towards patients
- Ability to take initiative and multitask
- Excellent organization and communication skills

**Wage**: $19-24/hour (negotiable)

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
