We are a busy and fast paced Family Practice with soon to be 7 Physicians, 1 Registered Nurse and 7 Medical Office Assistants. We are seeking another Medical Office Assistant to work 5 days a week. This position entails that you work every 4th Saturday. Our operation hours are Monday to Saturday 8:30-5. I provide a 2-month schedule.
- Booking Appointments
- Calling patients with abnormal results
- Scanning and importing results into the patient’s chart
- Third Party Requests: Lawyers offices, Insurance Companies, chart transfers etc
- Using the point-of-sale machine
- E-Faxing prescriptions etc
- Processing anything from the physician’s outboxes

**Education**: Must have graduated from a recognized program.

**Qualifications**:

- Works well independently as well as in a team environment
- Good working relationship with the physician's, office manager and colleagues
- Friendly and kind towards patients
- Ability to take initiative
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Multi-task

The 1st interview will be conducted over Zoom

The final interview will be conducted in person.

$18.00 - $19.00 depending upon experience.
