We are a busy and fast paced Family Practice with 7 Physicians, 1 Registered Nurse and 7 Medical Office Assistants in Port Coquitlam. We are seeking another Medical Office Assistant to join our office to work 5 days a week. This position entails that you work every other Saturday. The hours for this position is 9-5:30 with the exception on Mondays and Saturdays being 8:30-5. I provide a 1-2 -month schedule.
- Escorting patients into the examining room
- Calling / billing patients with their INR results
- Height and weight for infants and adults
- Setting up pap smears, circumcisions, excisions etc
- Pregnancy testing, urinary tract infections and drug screening tests
- Stocking rooms and keeping track of inventory
- Autoclaving
- Preparing baby injections, charting and billing
- Eye exams

**Education**: Must have graduated from a recognized program.

**Qualifications**:

- Works well independently as well as in a team environment
- Good working relationship with the physician's, office manager and colleagues
- Friendly and kind towards patients
- Ability to take initiative
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Multi-task

The 1st interview will be conducted over Zoom

The final interview will be conducted in person.

$18.00 - $19.00 depending upon experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
