**Job Summary**

We are an extremely fast-paced medical clinic seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. We have 7 Family Practitioners, 1 Registered Nurse and 10 Medical Office Assistants.

The Medical Office Assistant will be responsible for managing the nurse’s station alongside their colleague.

**Days and hours for this position**:You will need to work every third Saturday. If not scheduled to work that Saturday, then you would be working Monday to Friday. Hours of work are 8:45am to 5:15pm.

A 2-month schedule will be provided in advance.

**Operation Hours of the Clinic**: Monday to Friday from 8:30-5:00 and Saturdays from 8:30-4:30 or 5PM

**Education**: Must have graduated from a recognized MOA program

**Responsibilities**
- Escorting patients into the exam rooms
- Calling patients with their INR results
- Height and weight for infants and adults
- Setting up for the following: pap smears, circumcisions, excisions, trigger point injections, wedges, iud's etc
- Pregnancy and urinalysis testing
- Autoclaving
- Eye exams
- Stocking rooms
- Blood pressure readings

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a family practice medical clinic preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems; experience with Med Access is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work eƯectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding patient care are essential.
